Working in the Casino

I really dreamt of something big when I was still a child. My dream was simply to earn more money so that I would be able to live a very comfortable life. I studied hard until I finished college. I was one of the top honor students. After college, I applied for an office job. I was eventually hired as the executive assistant of the chairman of a computer company. The work was really heavy and demanding though the salary was good most especially for a fresh graduate. Two years after, I resigned and looked for another job. I resigned because I would not be able to live a longer life with the kind of work that I was doing. Moreover, I was not happy doing the job. I accidentally applied for a secretarial position in one of the casinos in Las Vegas. My family moved to Las Vegas because my mother applied for a job in one of the hospitals. My mother is a doctor who wanted to be in a new place. Fortunately again, I was hired. I liked the job because the secretarial work involved a lot of confidential and financial matters which I really liked. I really worked hard and got paid handsomely for the job. Two years after, I was assigned as the supervisor for the VIP area of the casino. I had to deal with the top customers. It was difficult because I was dealing with the rich and famous. However, I found happiness in my job.
